Adidas has established its name all around the globe. They are one of the leading companies, if not, the leading company in the sporting goods industry since we can remember. They boast of technologically-advanced items infused in their shoes, clothes and other sports equipment. Over the years, the group grew bigger and bigger. They have been actively tying up with different teams in different sports. This includes basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis and rugby, among others.

One of the biggest breaks in Adidas' history is signed an 11-year contract with the league in 2006. They are currently the official brand of National Basketball Association (NBA) jerseys. Not only are they the official brand but they also have exclusive rights in manufacturing NBA jerseys. So while Kobe Bryant and LeBron James get millions of dollars wearing their Nike shoes during games, they also have the benefit of the Adidas experience. They are also the merchandisers of the Women's National Basketball League and the NBA Development League or the D-League.
In 2010, Adidas introduced the NBA Revolution 30 jersey line. Revolution 30 jerseys are technologically advanced tailored to fit the needs of the player. They developed the "Formotion" technology wherein the materials used moves with you, giving a more flexible feel of the garment.
The materials are lighter, breathable and quick-drying. The numbers, which were usually printed in the jerseys, stick to your body when you sweat. The new jerseys' numbers don't stick and they actually move around with the fabric because they are made of breathable materials. So not only do the jerseys look good, but they feel good as well. |
