Learn More About the Jazz:
Raring to wear your Utah Jazz jerseys so that you can start cheering your favorite team on? Your Utah Jazz are currently playing for the Western Conference of the NBA's Northwest Division, but they weren't always in Utah. Back in 1974, they were formed in New Orleans as the New Orleans Jazz, but moved to Utah in 1979. Sadly, the Jazz were one of the NBA's most unsuccessful teams in their first few years, and it would take a decade before they could make it to the playoffs. They never missed playoffs from then until 2004. Today, the Jazz are the only team in Utah part of the United States' Big Four sports.
The Jazz currently play in Salt Lake City, often named the crossroads of the west. Industrial banking makes its home in this city. Many ski fanatics troop to the city to enjoy the many ski resorts. In fact, the Winter Olympics were once held here, making Salt Lake City a sports lover's paradise, too.
