If you see some Canadians rooting for this team and wearing Memphis Grizzlies jerseys, don't be surprised. The NBA was working to spread up into Canada, and the Grizzlies were once based in Vancouver, British Columbia, before they moved to Memphis, Tennessee, in 1991 to play for the Southwest Division of the NBA's Western Conference. They were once an expansion team, but are now a franchise and are getting ever stronger. There are two major sports teams in Tennessee, but while they play in Nashville, only the Grizzlies play in Memphis.
